MINISTRY FOCUS

Shay serves with Zach and Kara Kelly on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa as a Cadence Student Ministry SkillBridge Intern. He will learn how to lead youth in Christlike fellowship, prayer, and love during his internship. After his internship, he hopes to continue his education to become a full-time staff member with Cadence.

FAITH

Shay grew up in the church and came to know Christ at a young age, but his faith became his own after he joined the United States Air Force at age 18. Throughout various moves, life events, and trials of many kinds, Christ has continually shown Shay His faithfulness and unfailing love. After moving to Japan, Shay attended a chapel service and joined the worship team. He decided to get baptized in front of his friends and peers as a profession of faith. From then on, Christ has worked in amazing ways in Shay and paved the way for this ministry opportunity.

FAMILY

Shay is from the small town of Seneca, Pennsylvania. His parents are Scott and Lisa Harry, and he has two older siblings, Seth and Katherine. His family has been a vital part of his faith, and they continue to support him through this journey.
