MINISTRY FOCUS

Team Paxton is excited to see how God will use them in Cadence Adult Ministry as they share the gospel and their lives with the U.S. Military. Jason and Laura will partner with chaplains and offer a place for military personnel and their families to grow in their relationships with Jesus through Bible studies and times of fellowship. The Paxtons will also provide genuine comradery by exhibiting lives of authenticity, lived by faith, through the grace that Jesus has demonstrated in their own lives.

FAITH

Jason and Laura grew up in homes with an emphasis on learning Scripture and being involved in church. They both established personal relationships with Jesus before graduating high school and found themselves called to ministry while attending Bible college. After 22 years of Navy service, God has reaffirmed His call for ministry, specifically through Cadence International.

FAMILY

God has blessed Jason and Laura with six children and three grandchildren. A daughter, her husband, and three grandchildren live in the Boston area, along with one of their sons. Their other son and his wife live in Virginia Beach. Two daughters (one with her husband) are in Illinois, and the youngest is in college in Iowa. Laura’s dad, brothers, and sister live in South Carolina. Jason’s parents are also in South Carolina, and Jason’s sister is in Nevada.
