MINISTRY FOCUS

Mark and Mary served with Cadence at Victory Ranch near Fort Jackson from 2001-2005 and have been at Fort Cavazos since 2007. They minister on post and are part of the Soldiers Hospitality House team. They aim to share the gospel and make disciples who will make disciples.

FAITH

Mark grew up in a Christian home and placed his faith in Christ at age 20. While a student at Moody Bible Institute, his practical Christian ministry was with the Navy at Great Lakes, Illinois, and on military bases in the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area.

As a young 19-year-old Airman, Mary placed her faith in Christ at a ski retreat sponsored by Cadence and the chapel in Misawa, Japan. She was discipled by Cadence staff at the Misawa Hospitality House for two-and-a-half years.

FAMILY

Mark and Mary have two grown sons. Matthew and his wife Hannah have three children and live in the Fort Lewis area. Micah graduated from Texas A&M.
