MINISTRY FOCUS

Cadence Student Ministries (CSM) is contracted by the Yokota Air Base Chapel to lead the Protestant Youth of the Chapel (PYOC). After CSM’s rich history of ministry in this community in previous years, we were thrilled to return to share the gospel and our lives in 2020.

Yokota Air Base is located on the outskirts of Tokyo. With one of the world’s largest cities to the east and mountains and rivers to the west, there’s no shortage of adventures to be had! The air base is a busy hub, supporting a wide range of missions throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Our ministry serves the hundreds of middle and high school students and their families stationed at Yokota AB.

The PYOC is open to all students in grades 6-12. We meet throughout the year for youth group, Bible studies, special events, retreats, and service projects. Through intentional and relational activities, games, teaching, and discussions, PYOC is a place for students to connect with God and others. We pray students will experience encouraging biblical community, come to know Jesus, and grow in their faith.
