Field Visits and New Ministry Openings

by

One of my responsibilities as the new VP of Field Ministries has been to begin visiting our field staff and the ministries they lead. This past month, I traveled throughout North and South Carolina, and it was a joy to meet so many of our missionaries—both those who are newer to Cadence and those who have faithfully served for many years.

It is especially encouraging to see new ministries opening in so many places. Already in 2026, we have seen Anthony and Jessica Amor open the Sanctuary Hospitality House in northern Colorado Springs. Elizabeth Sanchez has stepped into her new assignment in Yokosuka, Japan, and Lexy Krogman has tickets in hand to travel to Germany later this month.

This momentum builds on several openings earlier in the year. In January, Ben and Simi Halford launched a new hospitality house near Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, while Chris and Melissa Stephenson opened the Camp Lejeune/ New River Hospitality House in North Carolina to serve Marines in that area.

And there is more to come. We are expecting at least eight new missionaries to attend pre-field training in July before heading to their first ministry assignments. Just this week, we hosted eleven missionaries at our New Missionary Training.

We are seeing so much of the exciting work God is doing through Cadence. Please join us in praying for lasting fruit from these new ministries.

Blessings,

Nate Johnson
