MINISTRY FOCUS

David and Daniela serve as the community directors for the Wiesbaden Hospitality House in Wiesbaden, Germany. David grew up in a Navy family and later served in the U.S. Army. Together, they count it a privilege to share their lives, their home, and their faith with the military community. The Bruces desire to show the love of Christ, disciple young men and women stationed at U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden, and support the chaplains serving in Wiesbaden, Germany.

FAITH

David came to know the Lord through Gary Robinson, a retired Navy dentist whose own life was shaped decades earlier through a Cadence ministry (then called Overseas Christian Servicemen’s Center). Daniela came to faith in Jesus through a small church community in Georgia that showed her the love of Christ and the difference between religion and a personal relationship with Jesus. Together, David and Daniela have grown into a mature faith that has fostered a desire to deeply love and care for young service members, chaplains, and church leaders.

FAMILY

David traces his family roots back to Virginia, and Daniela is a native-born German from Rheinland-Pfalz. They met in Baumholder, Germany, during one of David’s duty assignments and have been married since 1995. They have 3 sons and a dog.
