Adult Ministry
Create authentic community through adult military ministry.
Those serving with Cadence Adult Ministry (CAM) invest in military communities through relationships and programs designed to introduce, develop, strengthen, and grow relationships with Jesus. Whether it’s through Friday night gatherings in a hospitality house, coffee with someone, or a retreat created to refresh the soul, we know God uses open homes and open hearts in powerful ways.
Responsibilities may include planning and conducting regular ministry programs, mentoring Christians as they deepen their faith in Jesus, practicing hospitality, training volunteers, building relationships with service members and their families, and supporting chapel communities.

Staff serving with our adult ministry will often work at a hospitality house, coffee house, retreat center, or with a specific group such as Cadets. Check out examples of these kinds of ministries:
Large-style ministries work out of spacious homes and other facilities. Ministries in this category include The Harbor in Okinawa, Japan, Soldiers Hospitality House in Texas, and Victory Ranch in South Carolina.
Small to mid-size ministries take place in traditional homes. Ministries in this category include The Festaburg in Baumholder, Germany and The Dwelling Place in South Dakota.
Staff may also serve with a particular group, including singles, veterans, women, and cadets. Ministries in this category include Aggie Corps Ministry and The Wired Bean.
Going to the hospitality house became my favorite part of the week. I would look forward to Friday nights every week and would always leave feeling like I belonged.”
