MINISTRY FOCUS

As Cadence Associate Field Staff, David and Jennie desire to share Jesus with active-duty single soldiers through hospitality, encouragement, and consistent relationship-building. They create a welcoming home environment where soldiers can relax, share meals, and find community outside of military life. Through intentional presence and care, the Osbornes aim to reflect Christ’s love in practical, everyday ways and offer a place of rest and connection.

FAITH

David grew up in a Christian home and was regularly involved in church and Scripture from a young age. Around 16, he made a personal decision to put his faith in Jesus and follow Him, moving from what he had been taught to a faith of his own. While growing in his walk with the Lord, he and Jennie both became involved with the Cadence house at Fort Bragg. That environment helped strengthen their faith through community, discipleship, and time spent with other believers.

Jennie did not grow up in a Christian home and was first introduced to Jesus later in life. A major turning point in her faith came through her involvement with the Cadence house at Fort Bragg, where she began hearing the gospel more clearly and consistently. There, she met believers who encouraged her and mentored her in her walk with Christ. Through that community and discipleship, she came to trust Jesus personally and began growing in her faith.

FAMILY

David is from California and Jennie is from Florida. They met while serving as soldiers at Fort Bragg, where their friendship and shared faith in Jesus grew into marriage. They have two daughters, Hayley and Amanda, who are both married. Hayley and her husband have a son named Liam, who is a joyful addition to the family as their grandson.
