MINISTRY FOCUS

Tom and Audrey both participated in the ministry at Victory Villa in Rota, Spain, from 1979 to1980, while serving in the Navy as young adults. They met at the Villa and married in 1986, before moving to Philadelphia in 1990 with the Navy. They served as Directors of Victory Villa from 1999 to 2006. They are excited to now serve as Limited Term staff to help run ministry while full-time staff are away.

FAITH

Tom heard the gospel over CB Radio in South Florida and accepted Christ in a high school youth group just after joining the Navy. He then transferred to Rota, Spain, and was discipled in the faith by a WW2 veteran and Cadence missionary, Gordon Gustafson.

Audrey was stationed in the Navy at Whidbey Island, Washington, when a fellow hospital corpsman with the Navigators shared the gospel with her and discipled her. After the Navy moved her to Rota, she was mentored in the faith by a Cadence missionary, June Gustafson.

FAMILY

Audrey grew up in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York. Tom was raised in Port Chester, New York, and the area around Miami, Florida. After meeting at Victory Villa in 1980, they were married in Los Angeles at a multicultural inner-city church in 1986. They have five adult children and two grandchildren. They made the Philadelphia area their home in 2015.
