CADENCE STORY

Rick was invited to apply to the Cadence Board of Directors by two previous board members. As a Christ follower, the mission of Cadence intrigues him, especially given his background as a former U.S. Air Force officer. He has been involved in real estate for over 30 years, serving as general counsel, COO, and president. He believes Cadence sits at a unique and compelling intersection of faith, the military, and real estate.

PROFESSION

Rick is currently the President, Valuation & Advisory, Americas for Cushman & Wakefield. In this role, he is responsible for leading, optimizing, growing, and transforming the firm’s Valuation & Advisory business in the Americas region, which consists of more than 650 professionals in approximately 60 offices throughout Canada, Mexico, South America, and the United States. He is also the Executive Sponsor of Cushman & Wakefield’s Military and Veterans Programs (MVP) and a member of the Cushman & Wakefield Global Operating Council (GOC).

FAITH & FAMILY

His ministry is focused on his family (as a husband, father of four, and grandfather to one) and in his job (as a Christ follower and servant leader in corporate America and the workplace). His mission is to obey and serve Christ, be used for God’s glory here on earth, and finish strong.
