MINISTRY FOCUS

Nicole works part-time with the Mobilization Team at Cadence Headquarters. She assists in recruiting and helping identify new missionaries. It is her joy to work for an organization that blessed her for many years while her husband served in the Army. She delights in sharing with others why Cadence International is so needed in reaching the military community for the Lord!

FAITH

Nicole grew up in a military family, moving every few years, and did not attend church until she was in high school. She was invited by a friend and began attending the youth group. Through conversations with her youth pastor and friends, she decided to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior. It has been a wild ride as she has grown in her faith ever since! After high school, she attended Colorado Christian University (CCU) to deepen her understanding of the Lord. After being married for quite a few years, Nicole and her husband, Dirk, made the decision for Dirk to enlist in the Army, where they were first introduced to Cadence International. Throughout Dirk’s career, they invested in hospitality house ministries all over the world, and it is a blessing for Nicole to now work with the Mobilization Team, helping to find and connect with the next generation of missionaries to serve the military.

FAMILY

Nicole married her husband, Dirk, after graduating from CCU, where they met. Dirk recently retired from the Army after 20 years of service. They have four children: Taylor is a high school English teacher in Virginia, Julia is studying elementary education at UCCS, Zach just graduated from CCU with a degree in strategic communications, and Olivia is a sophomore in high school. Throughout her life, Nicole has moved 17 times, including living in four different countries. Now, she and Dirk are so excited to have settled back in Colorado.
