MINISTRY FOCUS

Lexy is extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to be involved in, learn from, and serve the military community at Spangdahlem Air Base. She loves listening to people’s stories and encouraging others in the church. She also has a passion for discipleship and helping people grow in their faith and walk with the Lord, especially young adults. As her college-aged/young adult years were a formative time for her, she hopes to walk alongside, build up, and share the hope of Jesus with those who are at this important stage of life.

FAITH

Growing up in a Christian family, there was never a time that Lexy didn’t know who Jesus was. God began directing her to Himself, and she trusted Him from a young age. Her love for God and desire to serve Him has been growing ever since. Working on summer staff at a Christian camp during college was the catalyst God used for immense personal growth in her faith. Through a number of experiences, trials, and godly mentors, God taught her much about His heart and character, and she was baptized to show her declaration of faith and commitment to serve.

FAMILY

Lexy was born and raised in a small town in northwest Iowa and lived there until graduating college and moving to southeast South Dakota. Both of her parents and most of her extended family still live and work at home in Iowa. She has two younger brothers nearby as well, one working in IT and the other in training as a pilot. She currently has the unique blessing of living with a family from her church, who non-coincidentally were the ones who introduced her to the ministry of Cadence!
