MINISTRY FOCUS

The Homestead Hospitality House has served the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) military community for over a decade. JBER is home to over 32,000 soldiers, airmen, DOD civilians, and family members. JBER is located in South-central Alaska amid picturesque, majestic, snow-capped mountains, lakes, rivers, and glaciers. The closest large city is Anchorage. 

The Homestead ministers to military families and single soldiers and airmen stationed at JBER. Ben and Simi work in partnership with the chaplains assigned to JBER and maintain the hospitality house to reach people for Christ. The Homestead Hospitality House functions as a beacon, home-away-from-home for all who seek to learn and grow in their spiritual walk. 

The Homestead offers weekly Bible studies, fellowship meals, one-on-one discipleship, outdoor group activities, outreach, and more. We strive to love God and love others as we share the gospel and our lives with the military community.
