MINISTRY FOCUS

The Homestead Hospitality House has served the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) military community for over a decade. JBER is home to over 32,000 soldiers, airmen, DOD civilians, and family members. JBER is located in South-central Alaska amid picturesque, majestic, snow-capped mountains, lakes, rivers, and glaciers. The closest large city is Anchorage.

The Homestead is currently staffed by Christine Graham. Her husband is an active-duty Chaplain stationed at JBER. This summer, they are taking a break from weekly Friday Dinners and Bible study to instead host Summer 2026 Sunday Hikes and Hangouts. Military members are welcome to join the afternoon hikes and then come for a meal and fellowship at the Cadence house. To view all details and information for the hikes, please visit this page: Summer 2026 Hikes

The Grahams also enjoy hosting Chaplain events and military family dinners. To learn more about JBER Homestead Hospitality ministry and events, visit the Facebook Page: Cadence Homestead JBER
