Newly opened in January of 2025, the Haven will serve the servicemen and women of Interior Alaska. Centrally located between Fort Wainwright and Eielson AFB, the Haven will offer warm hospitality and fellowship amid the cold and harsh environment of the interior. It is located right off the Richardson highway in North Pole. The city of North Pole is located 15 mins SE of Fairbanks. Both lie in a valley between two mountain ranges —the Alaska Range and the Brooks Range—creating unique subarctic desert conditions. Centrally located in Alaska’s Interior, they are north of Denali National Park and Preserve and south of the Arctic Circle.

Interior Alaska is a regionally isolated and financially difficult place to live, particularly for young men and women who are newly separated from their families and communities. It is the Haven’s vision to reach out to these servicemembers to give them a home away from home and a community that will encourage and equip them for the challenges they will encounter in their career and personal lives. The Haven strives to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost and grow and equip the saints, as we share our lives and gospel with the military communities of Eielson AFB and Ft Wainwright, Alaska.

Weekly ministry nights include a home-cooked fellowship meal, Bible Study, and games. During the summer, we hike, float the Chena, enjoy games, and relax around the fire. During winter, we ice skate, watch movies, and meet for other special community events.
