MINISTRY FOCUS

STRIDE Ministry began in June 2015 as an independent Christian nonprofit and is now part of the ministries of Cadence International. Dan and Erin Evans, the original founders and directors of the ministry for eleven years, will hand over leadership in summer 2026 to Ethan and Emma McCraney.

STRIDE serves single and newly married airmen at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. We partner closely with the chapel staff to reach airmen in the dorms, at the chapel, and through outreach activities designed for those who do not have a faith background.

STRIDE Fridays take place every Friday night at the hospitality house. These include a home-cooked meal, Bible study, prayer, small-group discussion, and—after all that—good old-fashioned fun and games! Most weekends also include a special event, along with one or two weekend retreats each year. Additional small-group Bible studies meet on base or in homes throughout the year. Deep friendships and authentic Christian community are cultivated in this ministry.
