MINISTRY FOCUS

The Hansen Christian Center in Okinawa, Japan was established by Cadence in 1969 and is currently being served by Darrow and Vicki Frazier. HCC, or as the Marines call it, “The House,” is located within walking distance of Camp Hansen. Camp Hansen is a predominately single and unaccompanied (married with families left behind in the States) base. The Hansen Christian Center is a home-away-from-home for the military community. The Fraziers provide gospel-centered relationships through a variety of activities including hospitality, recreational activities, one-on-one discipleship, Bible studies, and mentoring. The Hansen Christian Center partners with the ministry of the Camp Hansen Chapel and seeks to serve the military community in this way.
