MINISTRY FOCUS

Fort Jackson is the home of one of the Army’s basic training commands, as well as the Army Chaplain School, the Army’s Drill Sergeant Academy, and two AIT schools. A lot of soldiers and families rotate in and out quickly for these schools. Those who are here as cadre often work long hours and the families have long stretches without their soldier around the house. Fort Jackson ministry seeks to come alongside and support these families, and their soldiers, through hospitality, Bible studies and mentorship, and sharing life together.

Laurel and her family have been ministering at Fort Jackson since 2016.

The focus of this ministry are the military wives, though once a month we host a fellowship gathering for both military members and families.
