Experience ministry to the military first-hand
With opportunities on three continents, our interns are part of God’s movement to reach military personnel with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Applications are due by January 1.
Internships vary in length, lasting from eight weeks to one year. While many desire a summer internship, we have opportunities available year-round.
A short-term internship is eight to ten weeks for young adults in which you will work alongside field missionaries, try your hand at a new language and culture, get mentored in your ministry skill development and grow in your understanding of God, yourself, and His call on your life.
The One-Year Experience allows young adults to engage in Cadence International’s ministry environment.
Training will focus on: character, ministry life, theology, and personal development. The year will consist of two phases:
LifeCompass—our four-month discipleship and volunteer training. You will have exposure to cross-cultural environments, engage with a variety of ministry experiences, and experience intensive learning within a team environment. Learn more about LifeCompass.
Following the LifeCompass portion of training, you will spend eight-months within one of Cadence International’s ministries serving the military community. This service will focus on adults, students, or children.
During this phase, participants receive mentoring, as well as increased responsibility and leadership as the internship advances.
If you are interested in a summer internship, your application must be completed by January 1.
We are pleased to report that our missionaries and HQ staff rated Cadence as a Best Christian Workplace, which puts us in the top 30% of all similar missions and nonprofits surveyed.
This award is an outward expression of our internal health and a recognition of the high level of engagement and excellence with which our staff carry out their responsibilities across the mission.
