Summer Internship

Can you make a lasting difference in a short amount of time? In military communities, the answer is yes! Military personnel and their families are quick to make friends, open to authentic relationships, and often aware of their need for a Savior. Whether your heart is drawn to investing in children, youth, families, or adults, we have a place for you to serve.

Cadence has strategically designed our Summer Internship Program to help Interns experience ministry to the military, walk with Jesus, and become better equipped for Kingdom work. This year, Internships will run from May 17 through July 23, 2027.  

From May 17 through July 19, interns serve alongside our full-time staff, receive intentional discipleship, and engage in ministry within local military communities around the world. As part of the internship experience, all Interns will then gather in Denver, Colorado on July 20-22 for a debrief, with return travel scheduled on July 23. This time provides an opportunity to reflect on what God has done throughout the summer and connect with fellow interns.

6-Month to 1-Year Internships

Do you desire to gain ministry experience and consider mission opportunities? This extended internship provides time to invest more deeply as you experience ministry to the military, walk with Jesus, and become better equipped for Kingdom work.

SkillBridge Internships

(For Active-Duty Military Members Only)

Cadence International is proud to be a SkillBridge Partner, offering internships specifically designed for active-duty military personnel who are preparing to separate or retire from the military. These internships are designed to equip separating or retiring active-duty military personnel with the skills necessary for full-time ministry through discipleship, training in ministry strategies, and the development of practical skills.

Application Logistics:

1. You may begin the application process up to 12 months before your separation or retirement date.
2. Applications must be submitted no more than 60 days prior to your desired internship start date.
