Staff Development
Cadence Care Team
Sharing the gospel and our lives is at the heart of the calling for Cadence missionaries and staff—a calling we embrace with deep passion. Yet such wholehearted service can be demanding and costly.
Fatigue, emotional wounds, and spiritual dryness are common challenges for those who stand faithfully in ministry. As Cadence missionaries and staff invest their lives in sharing the gospel and building relationships each day, they also need intentional care, support, and encouragement.
The Cadence Care Team strives to shepherd and nurture our missionaries, staff, and their families toward holistic health, renewed energy, and deeper spiritual vitality. By reflectiong Christ’s love and compassion, the Cadence Care Team strengthens and refreshes those called to serve the military community—equipping them for lasting impact, greater joy, and sustainable service.
Professional Development
The leadership structure of Cadence is set up so that all of our staff are under the care and supervision of field leaders, assistant field leaders, and directors who report to Cadence VPs with overall leadership from the President.
Staff Conferences
Every year Cadence offers training, team building, and spiritual encouragement at field conferences in each region. Every five years the entire Cadence family gathers from around the world for a week-long conference. These gatherings are highlights for Cadence staff and Cadence kids.
Leadership Summits
The Cadence Leadership Summit (CLS) is an annual event, bringing leadership from all fields and HQ departments, as well as field staff representatives to work together on assessment, strategic planning, training, and prayer for the mission as a whole.
By providing in-house counseling, we are able to help those in ministry seek support without the fear that they need to push through or hide their struggles.”
