MINISTRY FOCUS

Victor and Randyl Plancarte are in the process of applying to be full-time missionaries with Cadence International. They will attend a week of Candidacy, seeking God’s continued confirmation to serve with Cadence.

Victor came into a relationship with Christ through the ministry of Cadence. During the past few years, Victor and Randyl have felt God calling them to give back by sharing the gospel and their lives with fellow military personnel through Cadence. They desire to provide a home away from home, wherever God sends them. They are excited about this potential opportunity for God to use them to serve others in love and truth through His strength.

FAITH

Victor was born and raised in a Catholic home and came to know Christ through the military ministry at the Travis Hospitality House under the direction of Sue and Sandy Nafziger. Their presentation of the gospel contrasted with what he had previously been taught and opened his eyes and heart to truly understand Jesus and His sacrifice on Victor’s behalf. In coming to faith, Victor devoted his life to love, serve, and follow Christ all the days of his life.

Randyl came to know Christ at 16. She grew up in a broken home. After her second move at about 12, she became friends with her new neighbors, who were very involved with their church, Bible study, and youth group. She learned more and more about Jesus and eventually accepted Him into her heart. She knew God was and is the best Father and would never leave nor forsake her. Randyl is grateful that the Lord has continued to chase after her heart, even during her wandering years, and has given her a new purpose and different ways to serve Him.

FAMILY

Victor and Randyl enjoy living in Castaic, California, with their new son, Ricardo. The Plancartes also have two rescue dogs, a German Shepherd/American Staffordshire terrier mix named Chomper and a Bulldog mix named Emy.
