MINISTRY FOCUS

Jon’s ministry focus is on intergenerational, interpersonal discipleship and leading small group Bible studies. This comes from his conviction that real-life change tends to occur most often within the context of authentic relationships where people can wrestle together over the life-changing truths in the Word of God.

FAITH

Jon’s faith journey started with an early trust in Jesus under the gospel training of his parents, Colorado Springs church, and Christian school. As a young boy, Jon experienced conviction for his sinfulness and realized his need to trust in Jesus for forgiveness. Led in prayer by his parents to give his heart to Jesus, he found salvation. Through nearly 50 years of knowing Christ, the Lord has taught Jon to trust in Jesus’ steady faithfulness and kindness through both good and difficult times.

FAMILY

Jon grew up in Colorado Springs, attended the U.S. Air Force Academy, and served 24 years as an active-duty Air Force pilot, commander, student, and staff officer. He is married to Amy and has four daughters.
