MINISTRY FOCUS

David and Jodi serve as Cadence Associate Field Staff, supporting the Cadence hospitality ministry in Wiesbaden, Germany. With 21 years of experience as an active-duty military family, they are honored to share their lives, home, and faith with the military community. Their goal is to demonstrate the love of Jesus and cultivate discipleship among the young men and women stationed in Wiesbaden. Additionally, Jodi serves as the Worship Director at the Wiesbaden Hospitality Haus.

FAITH

David was raised Catholic, but his family experienced hurt within the church, which led them to drift away from the faith. Although he attended church with Jodi for many years, it wasn’t until a medical scare a few years ago that he realized he needed to commit his life to Christ. Jodi came to faith in Jesus as a child and grew up in a supportive Christian community in the church pastored by her uncle and aunt. David and Jodi were married in 1999, and together, they have matured in their faith and developed a heart for young service members. As a former Senior NCO, David finds joy in continuing to mentor young service members, both spiritually and professionally. Jodi is passionate about worship, supporting young married couples, and providing pastoral care.

FAMILY

David and Jodi, high school sweethearts since 1996, both grew up in Southern California. After graduating, David enlisted in the U.S. Army, and the couple married in 1999. David served 21 years of active duty, retiring in 2019 from Wiesbaden, Germany. Together, they have three adult sons: Noah, who is married and serves in the Air Force; Josiah, a Communications Specialist married and living in Illinois; and Levi, a food service worker and student currently living with them in Germany while exploring Europe. The couple is excitedly anticipating the arrival of their first grandchild in the fall of 2025. They also share their home with two cats, Leo and Koshka.
