MINISTRY FOCUS

Colton and Mary Bennett serve as Cadence Associate Field Staff at Camp Pendleton, California. They desire to make Jesus known by walking alongside Marines, Sailors, and families and supporting them in their faith journeys. By regularly opening their home, partnering with military chaplains, and connecting with local churches, they hope to embody the gospel and provide opportunities for all to grow in their faith. Everyone, whether skeptic, spiritually curious, or a committed Christian, is welcome at Hinson’s table!

FAITH

Colton grew up near Tampa, Florida, attended church with his grandparents, and gave his life to Christ in middle school. After a long winding road through college, joining the U.S. Army, working in finance, and serving alongside Cadence missionaries Jeremy and Shawna Quattlebaum at The Lighthouse in Japan, Colton answered the Lord’s call to ordained pastoral ministry.

Mary Bennett grew up in Sumter, South Carolina, and gave her life to Christ during a youth camp after her senior year in high school. She serves as a nurse in the U.S. Navy, providing care to servicemembers and their families in both body and soul, whether in the hospital or at their home in Oceanside, CA.

FAMILY

Colton and Mary Bennett met in Tampa in 2014 and were married in 2015. They have since been stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, Washington, DC, and now Camp Pendleton, California. Colton and Mary Bennett have a passion for hospitality and seek every opportunity to share their lives, their home, and the gospel with others. They have two sons, Bennett and Emory, and look forward to seeing how God will grow their family in the future!
