MINISTRY FOCUS

As an intern with Cadence International, Abigail Taylor will partner with full-time Cadence staff to share the gospel and her life with the military community. She will work with youth in the community by assisting local staff in teaching the Bible, leading small groups, planning an outreach event, and developing fruitful relationships with those in the military community. Abigail will be trained and discipled during her internship to better equip her for Kingdom work

FAITH

Jesus saved Abigail from believing her works could earn her salivation. Having been raised in the church, she gained much head knowledge growing up and lived her life trying to make God pleased with her. She lived this way until high school, when she met Jesus for the first time and realized He wanted her heart and not her empty good works. Upon this realization, she confessed and surrendered her life to Jesus. Abigail now lives for Him from a place of abiding in His love and not from striving to please Him for the wrong reasons.

FAMILY

Abigail first heard about Cadence through personal research. The Lord had been leading her to military ministry through the people He’d brought into her life. She desires to serve the Lord in every area of her life. She is specifically excited to serve the military community this summer because she’s seen firsthand the realities of military service through the lives of her friends in the military. Abigail is currently studying business and running cross country and track at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky.
