MINISTRY FOCUS

Ron and Susan served with Cadence as house directors from 1997 to 2014 in Germany and JBLM Washington state. While at Ft. Lewis, they spent much of their time on trauma/grief and marriage/family counseling for soldiers, airmen, and their families. This included time helping those dealing with PTSD and TBI in the Wounded Warriors Unit. Mentoring and teaching Bible studies was a highlight of their 17 years, and they continue to keep in touch with some they mentored in ongoing relationships.

As of 2014, they transitioned to serve as Cadence Ambassadors. Cadence Ambassadors have worked with the mission for a minimum of ten years of full-time service. During this season of appointment, Ambassadors are often involved with their local military community, sharing about Cadence ministries within their spheres of influence.

FAITH

Ron came to faith in Christ while in the Navy, through hearing the word of God preached and taught at the Vallejo Bible Church in Vallejo, CA. Susan came to know Christ when new Christians in an outlaw motorcycle gang invited her to church after hearing the word of God preached and taught at Faith Community Church, Palmdale, CA.

FAMILY

Ron and Susan have two wonderful daughters, Lydia and JoAnna. Ron and Susan live with JoAnna, her husband Paul, and their vivacious children Isabelle, Regent, and Julianna. Lydia lives nearby.
