As a family still serving on active duty, Dan and Sarah understand the unique spiritual needs of military members and their families. Their focus is to encourage brothers and sisters to strengthen their vertical relationship with God, through prayer and Bible study, as well as their horizontal relationships, through witnessing and fellowship. As part of God’s family, they strive to provide military members with a “home away from home.”
Dan and Sarah were married in 2007. However, as these two unbelievers tried to blend their lives, all was not well. They struggled to keep their marriage together while continuing to reject that “still small voice.” Both Sarah and Dan accepted Jesus as their savior the same week in October 2011, while in different physical locations. Recently, they were called to be Cadence Associate Field Staff and now minister to the Joint Base Langley-Eustis military community in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Dan is originally from Pennsylvania and Sarah is from Montana. They met in Guam in 2005 and they now have four children. Their daughters Delia (a member of the Air Force Security Forces) and Eleana (proud momma of their first grandchild, Kingstyn) are grown. Their sons Daniel and Michael are still at home and keep their mom and dad on their toes.
