Sharing Christ’s love in community
Cadence International Adult Ministries provide a unique mix of biblical teaching, relational connectivity, spiritual mentoring, and discipleship.
A Gathering Place
“I’ve never experienced a more honest, authentic, and powerful community of believers” is a common testimony of the servicemen and servicewomen who have been involved in a Cadence ministry.
We believe, as do many of those who have experienced it, that to participate in a Cadence community is to experience a togetherness with others that is consistently powerful and transformational.
We want you to be part of it!
Servicemen and servicewomen find an open door, a welcoming smile, a comfortable couch, a home-cooked meal, and people who listen, encourage, love, and point them to the hope of Christ.
We were made for community.
A hospitality house is a community unlike any other! We share ups and downs of life with military people, demonstrating for and encouraging them into deeper relationships with Christ and others. For many, the hospitality house is a home like they never experienced and a model for what can be. For some, it’s a life changing, course altering journey that echoes the footsteps of Christ’s disciples.
Ministry at a hospitality house ranges from Bible studies (singles, married, young families and other seasons of life), outreach efforts, one-on-one discipleship, mission trips, retreats, excursions, and various activities designed to foster healthy, Christ-centered community.
Designed to be a place of refuge, community, and wholesome fun, Cadence coffee houses are on-base ministries, often located near the barracks, that offer the regular opportunity for men and women in the military to drop in for good coffee, great food, and even better fellowship.
These facilities are staffed by Cadence International missionaries as well as local volunteers and offer servicemen and servicewomen a healthy and wholesome alternative to the bars and clubs located off-base.
God will often use the simplicity of a cup of coffee to alter a person’s life and forever change the course of history.
Cadence staff at these gateway ministries offer: mentoring, discipleship, Bible studies, fun activities, and friendship to the young men and women who are preparing for their careers of leadership and influence in various branches of the U.S. military.
Whether a full-day, an overnight, or a weekend, a retreat ministry offers men and women in the military the opportunity to take a break from their regular duties, to spend time with others outside their normal military life, to enjoy a place of rest and quiet, and to discover and encounter God in a loving and peaceful environment.
Those who experience a Cadence retreat often express a profound gratefulness for what God does in their hearts during this time away.
