About Rick & Jan Utecht
Rick received Christ as his Savior as a high school student and Jan accepted Christ at the age of 23. We have been married nearly 30 years, have raised 3 children, moved 14 times, and thank God for His blessings and protection through out those years. Rick served in the Air Force and Air National Guard for 29 years before retiring in May, 2005. Early in Rick’s career our family spent 6 years in Europe where we were ministered to at the Hospitality House in Alconbury, England. We have great memories of being fed spiritually as well as physically, and of the fellowship, which meant so much to us while serving our country far from home. From July of 2005 until October of 2011 it was our joy and honor to serve Christ and the men and women in our military as the House Directors at Misawa AB, Japan. However, due to the escalating expenses primarily due to the weakening dollar against the Japanese Yen and a major health issue we were lead by God to close this ministry. Jan and I are currently on home assignment as we rest and prayerfully look to the Lord's leading for what is next.
